Positive: Perfect location for a rock climbing holiday. Contact with the helpful owner was quick and friendly. House is located in a very small village just outside Hiltpoltstein. Building where we stayed had two apartments. Ours was upstairs with small bedroom all the way in the nook of the roof. Living room was very spacious with very well equipped open kitchen. Coffee and selection of tea was very nice extra. Two ventilators were helping with the surprisingly hot weather. WiFi connection and TV channels were excellent (We had few rainy days). Insect nets in all the windows were also great.
Negative: Small bedroom in the nook of the roof was very warm and lacked oxygen. Ventilator helped a bit but we didn’t want to keep it on all night. Also for some people it can be difficult to use the narrow winding stairs.
